This is an opportunity for your child to help support the troops!  Each child is asked to bring or collect at least 10 items on the list provided.  If this is for a younger group we can provide the items too for an additional fee.  An hour will be spent creating care packages and cards to send to the troops.  Each child will prepare 1 USPS flat rate box to send to the troops overseas.  A Great Party Spot will send the packages in your name for you.  Please allow 1-2 weeks time for each child to gather up the care package supplies.

This party was created to give children a way to get involved in their community and to give back to the soldiers fighting on our behalf.  An excerpt from WWW.Adoptaplatoon.com says it best

"Student participation is an excellent way to teach patriotism and giving for the sake of our troops asking nothing in return except the honor of celebrating our Nation’s tradition of supporting our men and women in uniform. This is an excellent opportunity to teach the importance of GIVING!  The troops enjoy hearing the news from home so ask children to write about news items in their areas of the country, information about their school, classes, sports events, their favorite hobbies, interests and discussion regarding their future goals for life."

 Please note:  Each care package costs approximately $10.00 to create.  This party allows for one care package per child.  The box size is 11" x 8.5" x 5.5".  If you wish to send additional items please let us know so we can plan accordingly. A Great Party Spot will donate one care package with the purchase of this party.  We will gladly incorporate special requests for this party.  We use criteria and guidlelines from WWW.adoptaplatoon.com for this party.  

 

If you have more than 12 children that wish to join in the efforts we can host the parties in shifts of 12.  Discount rates are available for larger groups.  Please contact us for more information.

OUR GIVING PARTY

INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING FOR EACH CHILD:

 

• Supplies to make 1 thank you card 
• We provide and fill out the mailing labels, custom forms & postage fees for 13 care packages

• We will take all the packages to the post office and ship them

30 MINUTE ROOM RENTAL:

Our 1 hour parties were created for mother's groups, day care groups, girls scouts, and other similar groups.  We realize some of our birthday customers might be interested in this party.  The 1 hour parties do not have time alotted for gift opening and cake eating.  If you wish to incorporate gift and cake eating time into this party you will need to add the 30 minute fee to the party.

Total party cost for 90 minutes: $225.00

Cost: $35.00 for party of 8

$1.00 for each additional child for parties exceeding 8 children.

PICTURE CD & 8 PHOTOS:

$1.00 for each additional child for parties exceeding 8 children.

Relax and let us take the pictures for you.  We will send each child home with a group photo and mail you the CD shortly after the party.  We truly enjoy taking photos for you,  and we will do our best to send you home with memorable pictures.  However, please note, we are not professional photographers. 

 

Birthday themed autograph picture frame with group photo (4x6)

Cost $15.00

A terrific way to remember a special party forever.  Guests will sign a wood birthday theme picture frame for the guest of honor.  We add a group photo to finish it off.  The solid wood frame is by Melissa & Doug.  It holds a 4x6 photo.  Table Top or Wall Display.

 

Personalized bingo game.

Cost $12.50

Our personalized bingo game has the party theme as well as the children's names attending the party on the bingo cards.  Bingo is a great game to help build memory and matching skills.  Your child will love matching all their friends to the cards.  It comes complete with a storage box
